Update your ActivClient 6.2.0.x software (Windows 7 and below)
Update ActivClient 7.0.2.x software (Windows 8.1)
Update ActivID 7.1.0.x software (Windows 10 & 8.1)
NOTE: Some of people "may" need to Right click the file and Run as Administrator
NOTE: The Cross Cert Remover tool is "supposed" to be an automated way of removing some certificates that cause access problems. From what I've experienced, you still need to follow my guide [slide 15] and manually remove certificates the Cross Cert Removal Tools fails to remove. Feel free to use if you want to waste your time.

Due to an email (and phone call) received from a

The Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has created this single file that includes
the InstallRoot and the Cross Cert Removal tool in one executable file
.
Home Users ONLY can download / use from:
MilitaryCAC - https://militarycac.com/files/HomeUserCertTool_V06.zip
(Double click the file in the zip folder)
AKO will not allow it to be uploaded, as it is a .exe file
Note: This file installs some additional [not needed] certificates that the regular InstallRoot file doesn't install

I have left the AKO links above. While this is great for Army users, if you are in another branch of the military, I am not able to provide the software you need to be able to use your CAC on your computer.
